Permits & placement
Holmes Beach is strict about its right-of-way — work in the public right-of-way without a permit can be billed at triple the normal fee, so never set a dumpster in the street without authorization. On your private driveway tied to permitted work you generally will not need a separate dumpster permit; for any right-of-way placement, the Building Department issues a ROW permit (941-708-5833). Construction hours run 7am–7pm on weekdays and 9am–5pm Saturday, with none on Sundays or major holidays, and Key Royale is reached by its own bridge — so we plan the route.
